If you make sure that you are in the courtyard, and therefore not alone, when the stabbing should take place, the attempt to take your life will be thwarted. If you use your Digipad to travel back in time, you can convince people in the past to gather in the courtyard. You find out that you are going to be stabbed at 2:30pm, and that you are alone when it happens.

You are given another chance to live by an evil entity called Homunulus.
